Interview: Joss Whedon Talks Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. And More
Joss Whedon Teases His Marvel-ous Future Plans
For the last 16 years, the voice of one man has rung louder in my brain than any other as the worlds, characters, scenarios, lessons and lines Joss Whedon ushered into reality resonantly deeply within all levels of my consciousness, turning me into a lifetime card carrying member of The Whedonverse.
The last year has seen our ranks rise dramatically in number as Whedon took control of Marvel's The Avengers and created one of the most satisfying and sensational action films of the millennium. On Sunday, the film took home top prizes at The MTV Movie Awards, where I caught up with Joss to talk about the next phase of his career.
After first thanking him for creating Sunnydale (an absolute must), I went on to ask about the status of The Avengers sequel, ABC's hopeful Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot and the long-rumored Dr. Horrible 2. And while Joss is not someone who accidentally reveals anything, these teasey tidbits will certainly help pass the time until we get some more official news.
Iron Man 3: Possible Post Credit Scene Details Known
According to Latino Review, the Post-Credit scene from Iron Man 3 will go like this:
It starts with a close shot of Tony Stark on a couch talking about his various traumas, obviously he’s talking to someone, as if he was seeing a shrink, the tone of the scene is light and supposedly funny. Then we discover that the person he’s talking to is Bruce Banner/Mark Ruffalo, who fell asleep because of Tony’s boring story. Tony remarks that Banner has been sleeping during the most part of his story and yells at him, and Banner just mumbles and says “You know, I’m not that kind of doctor!” Then Tony recalls another memory and resumes his monologue, and then we see Banner starting to fall asleep again.
The source isn't 100% trustworthy, so we can't say for sure yet if this will really be the scene.

Guardians Of The Galaxy: Yondu Had Been Cast
Michael Rooker, who was fantastic on his now-completed run on AMC’s The Walking Dead, has been cast as one of the four founding superheroes of Guardians Of The Galaxy, the Marvel Studiospic that James Gunn is helming. He will play Yondu,
who in Marvel lore was a game hunter of a primitive tribe native to Centauri IV, the first planet system to be colonized outside of the Sun’s solar system. He eventually bands together with fellow fugitives to form the superhero team. Chris Pratt already has been cast, and Disney plans an August 1, 2014 release date. Rooker, whose film credits include Mississippi Burning, Days of Thunder, JFK, Tombstone and Jumper, is repped by Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Nilon Entertainment.Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.: New Poster
We can't wait to finally get a date for when the pilot of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be broadcasted. We are hoping this will be after the regular TV season, at the end of May or early June. But very likely, if the show will be picked up by ABC (it would be very weird if they wouldn't), then we have to wait till September.
For now we have a new poster for you:
The Avengers 2: Will Black Panther Make An Appearance?

Morris Chestnut is an undeniable talent but has failed to crack through the gates of mainstream Hollywood or become a household name. But according to the source himself, Chestnut is rumored to be tapped to star as T'Challa the King of Wakanda in Marvel Comics' Black Panther film. Hol' up, though, that movie doesn't exist at all, and Chestnut hasn't been offered the role of Black Panther. But the next phase of Marvel entertainment promises appearances from Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy will all receive the silver screen treatment.
When you combine these rumors with recent tweets published by Chestnut, things start to look interesting. "It's time to get familiar with the Black Panther character!" Chestnut wrote alongside an image of a Black Panther comic book. Later Chestnut would clarify his tweet with another. "Not final. #BlackPanther may be in #Avengers2 first. RT @Jamaal91604133: @Morris_Chestnut Can't wait to see this movie. #BlackPanther," he wrote in the pidgin Twitter-speak we've all become too familiar with.
With Chestnut publicly pointing out that he's researching the role and reading up on Black Panther's history, it is interesting to note that no one working on the Phase 3 initiative commented on his tweets. Next, he states that Black Panther may make an appearance in The Avengers 2, which could be pure speculation on his part, but seems unexpectedly knowledgeable for someone who isn't involved with Marvel Studios' plans for the character.
